- Three Pennsylvania hospitals received the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center Gold Plus recognition:

- Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre
- Wailuku, Hawaii-based Maui Memorial Medical Center again earned the Gold Plus and Target: Honor Roll Quality Achievement Awards.
- Statesville, N.C.-based Iredell Memorial Hospital received the Chest Pain Center Accreditation by the American College of Cardiology.
- West Tennessee Healthcare Camden Hospital was awarded Chest Pain Center Accreditation by the American College of Cardiology.
- Neptune Township, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center received the gold-level Beacon Award for Excellence on the Cardiac ICU from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
- Los Angeles-based Keck Hospital of USC earned its second consecutive Get With The Guidelines Gold Plus Award.

- The American Association of Critical Care Nurses awarded the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's cardiac catheterization lab and pre-post recovery unit the Gold Beacon Award for Excellence.
