Ohio hospital invests $10M in OR, surgical upgrades

Circleville-based OhioHealth Berger Hospital, part of Columbus-based OhioHealth, has invested $10 million into a new operating room and surgical upgrades.

Along with the new OR, the project investment includes the expansion of the hospital's pre-surgery areas, waiting rooms and post-anesthesia care unit, according to an April 5 OhioHealth news release.

The OR was completed in February and added 200 square feet of space to what is now an 800-square-foot room.

The project's pre- and postoperative room renovations are expected to kick off in July.
