Providence, R.I.-based Care New England Health System is teaming up with Kingston-based University of Rhode Island to offer healthcare professionals expanded clinical and nonclinical educational opportunities to improve their knowledge and residents' health.
Officials said the programs will be customized for clinical and nonclinical professionals and may be held at Care New England facilities or at the university. Participants would be eligible to receive program credits for successfully completing the courses. Both institutions will oversee the program planning process.
Officials said the university may also provide consulting, coaching and grant evaluation and outreach programs, among others.
The exact terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
