Scott Hamlin steps down as CFO of The Christ Hospital Health Network

Effective June 30, Scott Hamlin will no longer serve as CFO of The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati.

Mike Keating, president and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network, announced the move via a letter to employees.

In the letter, Mr. Keating said Mr. Hamlin is stepping down from the CFO role "to spend more time with his family and to pursue some long-deferred personal interests."

Mr. Hamlin has served in healthcare for more than three decades. Most recently, he has served as senior vice president of finance and physician operations of The Christ Hospital Health Network, in addition to CFO.

"During this time, Scott has made many significant contributions to the network and the physician organization to drive growth while being continually focused on clinical excellence and the patient experience," Mr. Keating said. "Most importantly, Scott has continued to develop the talent, depth and quality of our finance department. These individuals include, among many others, Jamie Phillips, Ted Scherpenberg, Tina Hicks, Jay Saleh, Jennifer Schuster and Alma Helpling. Scott has brought a passion to his daily work and sharing his experiences and learnings with others, and a keen focus in supporting the delivery of exceptional care of our patients."

Ms. Helpling, who was most recently chief planning and improvement officer for The Christ Hospital Health Network, will serve as the network's vice president and interim CFO, according to Mr. Keating. Ms. Helpling also previously was vice president of patient services/finance for Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
