11 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Medical Center selected Dianne Goldenberg to lead as CEO.

2. Manchester, Iowa-based Regional Medical Center hired Charles Button to serve as CEO, effective Aug. 28.

3. Casper-based Wyoming Medical Center tapped Michele Chulick, BSN, to lead as president and CEO, effective Aug. 1.

4. Bayfront Health-St. Petersburg (Fla.) CEO Kathryn Gillette is planning to retire in August.

5. Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems, the parent company of Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Health Network, fired the network's CEO Brian Bauer.

6. Helena, Mont.-based St. Peter's Hospital tapped Wade Johnson to lead as CEO, effective July 31.

7. Sallisaw, Okla.-based Sequoyah Memorial Hospital Administrator/CEO Debbie Knoke retired.

8. Charleston, S.C.-based Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital selected Stephen Porter to serve as CEO, effective July 10.

9. Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth (Mass.) selected Kevin Coughlin to serve as president and CEO on a permanent basis, effective June 12.

10. Massillon, Ohio-based Affinity Medical Center named John P. Walsh CEO.

11. Blue Ridge Medical Center in Arrington, Va., selected Randy Pirtle as its new CEO, effective Oct. 16.
