Mayo Clinic undecided on function of downtown property 4 years after $5.8M acquisition

Though it has been nearly four years since Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic purchased the Lourdes High School building for $5.8 million, the property has not been used for anything other than employee parking, according to the Post-Bulletin.

The building, located in downtown Rochester, is estimated to be worth $3.8 million, while the land it sits on is valued at $4.3 million.

"Mayo Clinic continues to maintain the building, but there are no immediate plans for the space," Mayo Clinic spokeswoman Kelley Luckstein said on Friday.
